AfriGrowth Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to enhancing growth in needy communities, it has been founded on the belief that one of the greatest challenges we face in Africa is poverty, in ten years the Foundation has focused on eliminating poverty by initiating and supporting empowerment programs that has developed techniques for self-sufficiency.

In a bid to empower youth all over Nigeria, AfriGrowth Foundation organized a strategic youth forum on the 9th of February 2007, the aim was to seek ways on how to engage more youth in the mentoring thought process and as a result of that an essay competition program was launched and the award ceremony took place on the 20th of November 2007 at the word bank conference hall in Abuja. The three finalists went home with a laptop computer, desk top and DVD player. AfriGrowth continued to hold different kinds of youth programs like one on one mentoring for youths, essay competitions, youth academies, career seminars and online mentoring over the ten years.

They have also supported Educational Projects like donating school uniforms and writing materials to schools all over Nigeria, AfriGrowth Foundation has also established more than 30 libraries all over Nigeria with the goal of boosting the reading culture of the children.

The world is now based on technology and AfriGrowth Foundation has identified technology has the most effective tool needed in sustaining development, it is as a result of this that AfriGrowth Foundation decided to run an innovative challenge in May 2016 which leads to young people submitting ideas on how to use technology to boost education.
