Mrs. Dayo Keshi is an adept Cultural Administrator with in-depth experience and wide range of exposure in the Nigerian public sector. She has a strong passion for philanthropy which started over twenty years ago through volunteering her services to non-profit organizations in various countries she lived in as a diplomat’s wife. She gained a lot of experience in strengthening internal coordination of development institutions through her selfless service in various organizations such as the African Women Association of Addis Ababa of which she was the Vice President; the Commonwealth Women’s Club and International Women’s Club in Brussels. She was the President of the Consular Corps Women’s Club of Atlanta and prior to that she was the Vice President, Programs, of GEDE Foundation, based in Washington DC. She founded the Nigerian Women’s Association of Georgia (NWAG) and served as President for three years. The Association continues to make worthy contributions towards impacting positively on the lives of women and children both in Atlanta and Nigeria, which raised the profile of Nigeria in a positive manner never witnessed before in the city of Atlanta. Her philanthropic efforts resulted in the emergence of AfriGrowth Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to enhancing growth in needy communities in West African sub-region through initiating and supporting programs that develop techniques for self-sufficiency. She has a strong commitment to supporting women, children and youths. For these she has been honoured with a number of awards especially for her philanthropy works. Mrs. Keshi holds a B.Sc in Linguistics from University of Ibadan.
