The AfriGrowth Alumni 2014 Pet Project

The AfriGrowth Foundation has proposed to give out over 1000 exercise books to students in public schools as a way of encouraging the “Back to Reading Project” of the Foundation. However, it was concluded that since the Lagos state government already gives textbooks to public school students, that the Alumni body will donate an AfriGrowth Alumni customized exercise books. The project is scheduled to be executed by September, 2014 when schools will be resuming and it is strictly targeted at public school(s) in Lagos State. The idea is to start with a school and then scale it up with time. It is also expected that AfriGrowth Foundation President Mrs. Dayo Keshi will flag off the project before it will be executed. End-of-the-year-party: Furthermore, the Association will be holding a bi-annual re-union and also an end of the year party annually. This will kick-start this year in Lagos and it will be rotational between Lagos and Abuja. The bi-annual re-union is imperative as it will be an avenue for re-election of new executives as contained in our constitution.
